Commerce with Integration (CA and CS )

Surana Vidyalaya is a co-educational school and was founded by the GDA Foundation. The school is affiliated to CBSE, Delhi. The vision is to build the personality of the students with character and to develop the skills required for their career.

The school has all the basic facilities with good infrastructure, spacious classrooms, library, science laboratories, computer lab, AV rooms and amphitheatre.

The school follows the curriculum prescribed by the CBSE for classes I to XII & the syllabus prescribed by Karnataka State Pre-University Board for PUC courses.

We believe in knowledge beyond the textbooks & choice-based learning. Based on the calibre of the students, we give opportunity to develop their skills for making them self-sustained in life. As far as the choice of the subjects at CBSE level is concerned, the board provides variety of subjects.

Each individual child is unique, needs varied level of support for academic performances. Here in Surana Vidyalaya, we ensure individual attention in the class to create a learner centric teaching learning process. We have introduced Competency Based Education module this year, as a part of NEP 2020 to hone up the inbuilt skills in the child and allowing them to grow learning new skills. It is helpful for each student to know themselves better and evolve in a different way.

Department of Commerce – Surana Vidyalaya  

In Department of Commerce, usage of computer technology and multi media is useful for the students to get deep insight about the concepts. Through factory visits they are getting the real-life experience. The students interact with successful enterpreneurs. We encourage group study, peer learning, debate, projects & seminars.

Enterpreneurship Club initiated by the students of Commerce of Surana Vidyalaya, under the advisory team of IIT Bombay e-cell. The students are participating actively in national level competitions of Business Ideas, marketing, financing, Enterpreneurship, etc. They organise trade fares and events.

Integrated Course in Commerce has been started with the aim of preparing the students for CA Foundation exam. The students of Commerce who are aspiring to become Chartered Accountants can join this course of two years.
